Leogang

Situated at the foot of the Leoganger Steinberger mountains in the Pinzgauer region and linking at the southwest corner to the well regarded Saalbach/Hinterglem ski area, the resort of Leogang provides an excellent access point for 200km of skiing. The resort has a particularly good snow record for its altitude and is easy to reach from Salzburg.
Considering the extensive ski area, it is a surprise that more of us do not holiday in Leogang since the accommodations are well located with extensive facilities and have a warmth and charm that comes from the intimate attention paid by the respective families which run the accommodations we present.
A modern cable car whisks you up 1000m from Leogang and into the Skicircus area with its 55 lifts and 200km of slopes. Here you will find skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, mountain restaurants and cosy mountain huts.

2 banks - each with cash machines as well as a cash machine at the sports centre. Dr's, dentist, pharmacy, a few shops and boutiques, supermarket, restaurants and bars. Ice karting and floodlit skiing also possible.
